HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service!! I have patronized this establishment for more than 5 years now and they have always treated me right... UNTIL recently since they have changed several employees. The young guy at the shipping counter has caused me more grief the last few times going in there and today drove me to leave this review.
I took a large 70 pound package which I was quoted over the phone $69 to ship two states over and after taking it to the store, this guy quoted $88. So I told him I had to contact the receiver of the package to see if he would be willing to pay the difference.
In the meantime, the young guy went to take a break and left the counter. A new guy came in and moved my package to a new scale and re-quoted me. It came out $2 less. So, I said let's just get it done. Then he says to me that he spoke with the young guy on break and said he don't approve of my packaging and need to package it themselves or they would not guarantee it. Mind you... this package was the original package from the factory and I even put in more cardboard reinforcements, to boot!
I told him I am not interested in PLAYING THEIR GAME and grabbed my box from the scale and told the man you people are Crazy! and walked out the door, stating I will take my business to UPS!! (out loud so every one there, heard me)
You know... I should have done this after they hired the new people. They tried pulling this game on me every time SINCE hiring the new idiots there.
Well, FedEx just LOST all my business!! (I am a power seller on ebay and usually take my stuff in direct)
