2 stars on yelp = Meh. I've experienced better.
because I have. (Sprinkles, Dlish, The Cupcake Shoppe, etc).
I've been to every cupcakery in Toronto, and this is my 2nd time there since they've opened. The first time I thought maybe it was just a bad batch... not so...
However... 10 out of 10 for company branding, build out of the location, image, Heather+Lori, TV show, friendly staff, etc.
but the product itself is not king (so to say).
The cake part, and frosting, just don't go down well.
And what I noticed is that's how they were ment to taste (as this was not just a 1 time taste test).
But they're still here after a few years so their doing something right.
I wouldn't return but their pretty to look at!
