This is a Madison area Saturday morning must! Yes, the flow of traffic can be difficult to maneuver around, but I'm from California and this was minimal as compared to the Santa Monica and Santa Barbara markets. Heck, Costco on Sunday's is more irritating. But be warned: Mommies, leave your gigantic strollers AT HOME!
As for the vendors, there's something for everyone. And no two weeks are the same. Beautiful flowers, wonderful herbs, canned goods, pies, and pastries! Yum!
But, if you only buy one thing at the farmers market it has to be the Cheesy Bread. It's huge, but don't let that deceive you. You'll want to buy one for each person as you won't want to share. Cheesy and slightly spicy, it's something all its own.
