My dog goes here to get his nails cut every few months and they're usually very good with him. However, I called southwest animal hospital today to inquire about setting up an appointment with a vet. I don't know who they have answering the phones on Sunday but the lady I spoke to was extremely rude and condescending towards me. I was in desperate need to set up an appointment for my dog as soon as possible as he was having seizures the night before. All I got from this employee was exasperated breaths and an apparent annoyance in her tone when she asked for his name and information. After i asked what days will be available for an appointment this week, she rudely told me to call back some other time since she apparently didn't have time to accommodate me in that moment. She hung up the phone before I even had a chance to respond. Shame on you, Southwest Animal Hospital for hiring employees that clearly aren't competent enough to know the basics of phone etiquette and customer service. I've been a loyal customer for years and have taken all my pets here for their veterinary needs. I'll gladly take my business down the street to Buffalo Animal Hospital where they actually appreciate their customers.
