After our car broke down in wikieup, az and my mother from Phoenix had to come get us I called enterprise to get a rental so I would be able to drive back to Las Vegas. I called the reservation number and made a reservation for an intermediate suv. I gave the woman the zip code of where I needed to pick up from and clearly stated I needed to return the car in Las Vegas. She said ok and told me I needed a credit card. I told her I don't have a credit card, but do have a debit card. She told me that would be perfectly fine and that I would possible just need a utility bill or a pay stub, which I had. When I got to the enterprise on w van buren at my scheduled pick up time I was told I needed a major credit card. I let them know I didn't have one, but the woman I made the reservation with told me that was fine and that i brought the pay stub she told me to. The agent to me they was not their policy since it was one way. I told her I had no other options as I had been dropped off and asked to speak to the manager. Being as how they are insanely understaffed I had to wait several minutes. I finally was able to talk to a man named Ogi Vesic he was incredible rude and not helpful. I explained to him the situation and what I was told and he explained they are just reservation agents and do not always give accurate information. I found that absolutely ridiculous. It is a question I specifically asked and was given an incorrect answer to. He told me since Arizona is a border state they have different rules. I was incredibly upset and left the store and went to Avis. The woman was more than helpful and just a wonderful person to deal with. I will never rent from enterprise again. I would not even attempt. You can't even get accurate information while booking a reservation. Incredibly rude staff and terrible customer service Apparently enterprise responds to some people but not others. I received the same service from the same incredibly rude manager and no response. That's ok not planning on ever renting from enterprise again. Also am actively telling friends and customers at the casino I work at to not rent from them.
