My husband and I tried this place out because of the great reviews on here. First off, the service here is wonderful. They not only served us perfectly within the restaurant, but within a week we got a card from Del Frisco's thanking us for our patronage. If that's not enough, we also received a Christmas card from them again this year. I definitely feel loved as a customer.
One of the best parts of this restaurant (especially for me, because I tend to be very picky about the way my steak is cooked) is that once the steak arrives at your table, the server will cut into the steak and show you the middle to ensure that the steak has been cooked the right way. If it's not it'll go directly back to the kitchen. Add that to the truffle butter they bring melting happily over a tealight, the steak here is heavenly.
The only reason I've docked a star from this place is because when we went, my husband's filet mignon was chewy and tough (as if it was a piece of muscle or something?). However, when we told the waiter about this, they immediately changed his filet for a new one, which was really nice, but I do wish they had gotten it right the first time.
The sides and desserts were delicious, but not as memorable as the steak which was definitely the main star in this restaurant. If you're visiting Vegas and hankering for a delicious piece of meat, you won't go wrong coming here.
Don't forget to ask for the truffle butter!
