Umami in Japanese means 'delish'. We were staying at the SLS hotel, so we gave Umami Burger a try. The restaurant is like any sports bar, but it's more roomy & the seating is comfortable. However the 'Umami Burger' is a little disappointing. First off, the burger comes without any fries or salad. Fries & salad are extra. The patty was not very tasty; NOT 'umami' at all. There is not much of anything on the patty...maybe a sundried tomato & a little bit of onions. It is just not very appetizing. I expect a yummy burger, but this burger is really bland. You pay this for $12.95, without any fries or salad. I had better burgers somewhere else.
