Not a good experience. I never thought that in a place that temperatures can reach over 100 degrees for several month of the year like they were this week any reputable company will have tour buses without air condition. We purchased a two day pass considering previous experiences in other cities and countries we have visited. The hop on hop off idea is great as long as you are on a comfortable ride. Maybe during the spring and fall won't be so bad but do not consider this idea between May and September. Not only it was extremely uncomfortable that we hop off at the second stop and decided to use the company Lyft/Uber to move around. Later that afternoon we decided to give it another try since it was paid for anyway and then on the second stop the bus was over heating and they had to stop. Enough said we got off and gave up using them again. No one will think it is pleasant to wait inside a bus in 100 degrees heat until they solve the problem. For what they charge and considering it is the desert common sense tells me a/c is a must. Obviously they are old buses and they are not getting proper maintenance but the fact that the bus overheated is more understandable than knowing that is not that the a/c broke is the fact that they do business without it. None of their buses have a/c and just a couple of them have a small canopy on the second floor. Unacceptable!
