I called Sy Electronics because my Mitsubichi DLP had white dots all over it. I had read online that this was happening. (it's 6 years old) After explaining my dilemma, I learned that Mitsubichi would give me the part, and I just had to pay for the tech to come switch it out. $200. This was less than I had anticipated. It only took 2-3 days for the part to come in, and Sy Electronics called and scheduled for the next day. The tech/service man came on time (at the beginning of the time window) and was done lickity-split. Very helpful, respectful, efficient, competent.
