Fremont Street is definitely the home to old-school types of casinos. We wandered all the way down to the end then hit the EL Cortez. I didn't even make it in the door and somebody was already hustling me for change so they could play slots. They clearly attract locals who live on the edge. Comparatively speaking there was little to no atmosphere and we went and spent a little bit of money and walked right out. We will be going back here. The only redeeming thing which I thought was cool is they have older slot machines that still pump out the coins :-)
