I was really excited to see the poster of what this new shop was going to be as someone who has a lot of allergies.
I was a little disappointed though...they have limited variety of ready made food and b/c they are trying to avoid several top allergens, they are limited in their selection.
Fresh food -
I've tried the vegetarian pocket pie which was excellent - $5
I also tried the chocolate donut. It was ok - I think it was $3.50
They had packaged quinoa salad that seemed very overpriced.
(While, I am sure rent is high - still seemed quite high).
They do have packaged food, like Mary's crackers and some more harder to find gluten free, nut free etc. products. Since I mainly buy this kind of stuff at Kensington for much cheaper, I probably wouldn't buy anything here - except something hard to find.
I hate writing a so-so review on a business that took a risk to help support the allergy ridden folks. I hope they are able to cook/bake more diverse products but it will be hard if they are trying to avoid so many allergens. They may want to stick to a few and note what each product is free of...
Really great to have this place though if you are heading to the park and need some gluten free treats.
The actual space is also very nice and modern. There is one bar table in the front if you want to eat in (limited seating).
