I can't stress how important it is to have knowledgable associates that work for a company! I came in today for the first time to make a payment on my credit card and the best part was nobody was in line! However I have to ding them on a few stars because of the customer service! I work for a financial institution so I know exactly how this transaction should've went. Now as crazy as this sounds I had a simple question about a posting time frame on my credit card payment. Payment due date was today in July 2nd and so with that landing on a Saturday it clearly isn't a business day technically but I asked the teller LISA (CASHBOX#1)about the posting time frame. The receipt showed that it wouldn't post until the 5th which is after the 2nd so I wanted to make sure I wouldn't be charged a late fee because of this. Lisa said "oh it will post the 5th".. Okay i know that but answer my question.. Will I get a fee she says nonchalantly "yeah most likely" that's BS so I walk out and call customer service and sure enough she was wrong! My transaction took place on the date it was due so I in fact am not late! Learn your transactions or be properly educated on these simple questions before sending your people out on the line. Not only this but every other teller was having conversation with their customers and I had the awkward silence while she was processing my transaction? Weird.. Was my transaction processed correctly? YES! Was I impressed with the service? NO! Was my questions/concerns addressed? NO! So that's 1 out of 3 that puts you at 33% which equals a FAIL!
