They quoted me $4,000 for a new transmission. I thought about scrapping the car and was really upset about losing it, because the repair cost was more than the value of the car. National Transmission just said that there was something wrong, didn't really elaborate. Luckily someone told me to get a second opinion and I got my car towed to a different shop that did it for half the price National quoted me and still gave a guarantee on it. The guy I talked to on the phone was nice and pretty flexible though, so three stars for good customer service.
