I've seen this place a million times, yet I'd never ventured in. Finally, on another sweltering Las Vegas day, a co-worker and I braved the steaming streets to give this place a try.
It was empty. That wasn't too surprising as it was 8/13/12 - during the 3rd summer session at UNLV. It's the most dead semester of the year. We ordered popcorn chicken, but they were fresh out. The friendly guy working the cash register went above and beyond to make up for the fact that they were out. He gave me boba for free in my drink... and upgraded the size. That was pretty awesome of him.
My coworker got the chocolate toast and I got fries that were the special. They had black and white mayonnaise on them. They were okay. Nothing I'd crave, but the sauce was good.
Overall, I'd probably hit the place up for more boba, because honestly, who doesn't like boba?
