Any support industry has its ups and downs because they hire folks with different levels of skill and attention to detail. I've had mixed experiences with Pep Boys in their service and timeliness.
Who made all the difference was Kevin. On two separate occasions he asked me simple questions and found the issues with my vehicle immediately where others had difficulty or wanted to charge me more than what was necessary. I've heard enough horror stories about bringing cars into mechanic shops and only coming back because something else just "happened" to break again and being stuck in a revolving cycle of fake service.
