I went here for my last haircut and I was not impressed at all. I got partial highlights and a cut and style. I chose Madison Avenue because its a 'high end' salon so the stylists wouldn't mess my hair up (or so I thought anyway). My stylists was a higher level (so more money), but again to me it was worth it if my hair turned out right. But it didn't. The highlights were fine but the haircut was horrendous. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, a V layer cut with long layers throughout (I have long hair and didn't care how much she cut as long as it looked like the picture). She cut my hair literally in a straight V shape (V shape in the back) with no layers at all... it looks ridiculous. I asked for more layers so it would look like the picture I provided but she just gave me a few short layers. It looked nothing like the picture! On my way to the register she pointed at a girl at the front desk and told me I should think about getting my hair cut like hers next time(it was a long bob that was cut straight), um... no if you would have cut my hair like I wanted it would have looked just fine and I wouldn't need you to recommend a haircut nothing like what I wanted. I left and vowed I would never go back. I paid $200 for a haircut I could have gotten at Cost cutters. I don't recommend this place unless you already know the stylist does good work.
