I'm kind of sad to see bad reviews about this place. I fell inlove with it my first trip. Let me start by saying I don't have much experience with Vietnamese cuisine, but my overall experience of unPhoGettable was fun. The lack of appetizers do put a bit of a damper on the meal, but not a huge one. My boyfriend and I started off with the fried egg rolls. These were full of flavor and the lettuce I received was chilled, crisp (unlike the other reviewer) and was served with pickled veggies and a sweet sauce for dipping. I'm IN. The owner of the restaurant went over the entire menu for us, told us the most popular dishes and really pointed out the pros and cons of each dish. I went with the Pho w/ brisket. My boyfriend got the Pho with all the meats in there. It came with bean sprouts and basil on the side. I was stuffed by the time I left. I couldn't believe how much food was in that bowl. There was no way any one person can finish off a bowl of soup like that. Give this little place a chance.
