Food is...food. It's pretty and mostly tasty, but it's not new and trendy anymore. Nothing pops or wows. And certainly not worth the price. (Tapas, tapas, tapas.) And the utter complete inability and refusal to split checks baffles me. I used to serve. I know what a pain it is. But it's a necessary evil. And one would think, since the servers don't have to split checks, that they'd be happy and more accomodating. No. Not so. Rude. Snotty. Bothered. Arriving with food we didn't order. "You seriously didn't order this?" Um...no. And I know it's tapas, but having someone's order come out 30 minutes later is...just bad.
If you're really into tapas and are willing to pay for it, there are so many places that are better. If you wanna' go to someplace just for the sake of it's trendiness...well, this is it. For now.
