This is hands down our favorite restaurant in Phoenix. My husband took me to the Parlor on our first date here when we first met, because it was already one of his favorites. We've celebrated many anniversaries, baby announcements, and regular date nights since then at the Parlor, and here's why: the menu is both consistent and innovative. The best thing on the menu in our opinion is the Spicy BBQ Chicken Pizza, with its tangy sweet BBQ sauce and Serrano peppers. The cheese on this pizza has amazing flavor all on its own! We order this nearly every time we go because it is just so delicious. We also love the Parlor Insalata with its crunchy roasted chick peas and amazing vinaigrette. We could order this pizza and salad every time and leave satisfied (especially with the delicious seasonal cocktail menu! Always lends variety and interest even if you order the same food). However, why stop with the favorites when there are so many delicious market and seasonal menu items? We love to find out the Market Pizza, and often decide to order one, since the ingredients are seasonal and it's always something new! The pastas are also delicious, our favorite being a winter seasonal, the Sweet Potato Gnocchi with braised short ribs--yum! Our only complaint is that once we went pretty early (during happy hour) and that particular pasta had already sold out (before 6pm!) which was a little disappointing, but shows how delicious it is! Speaking of happy hour, plenty of good deals to be had there with affordable small pizzas and drinks that make it easier for folks like us to try new menu items while still squeezing in room for our fanorute pizza. Highly recommend this spot for a delicious dinner in Phoenix!
