Oyster bar is located in Palace Station and tucked away in the casino. There's only about 16 or so bar seats with a sectioned off area for the line near some slot machines. Standing in a line behind 14 people took just a bit over 1.5 hours at around 11am on a Saturday. Note: its open 24/7.
Service was decent and semi-quick in bussing the bar to ensure patrons get seated as quickly as possible. I noticed one cook, one busser/server, another coming to the bar here and there from the back.
I decided on a dozen oysters $20 and combo pan roast $23.99. A bread roll is also served upon seating.
Pan Roast with white rice- creamy tomato stew with shrimp crab and lobster. This was shared between two people and we got 2 servings of rice at no extra charge. Ordered at a level 7 spice, and it had a kick, but not overwhelmingly spicy. At first bite, you get so much flavor. Creamy, buttery, at times chunky. Good amount of seafood added. Overall absolutely delicious.
Oysters - big, firm, slippery. Good for the price and as a starter. Hot sauce tray available in between every couple of seats.
There's only about 6-8 kettles, so there can be a wait even when you sit. It's about a ten minute cooking time, so it's not that bad. I was pleased by this visit, despite the long waiting time. Might as well have a drink while you wait in line. Enjoy!
