Let me start off by saying that I have two dogs that I've had for 7 and 6 years. We love our dogs. One of our dogs has extreme allergies that require him to be medicated and a blood panel. We were looking to re-Home him, as the monthly expenses of the medication and special diet is too much. When I called just to inquire about what they do and if adoption was possible. I was met with judgement for not "wanting" to buy his medication. It isn't a matter of desire. It's a matter of necessity. We literally can no longer afford it. After the owner, Diana was very rude and judgmental, she then said she has no space for a big dog and that he wouldn't be adopted anyway due to his medication. This part is fine, I wish she would have led with this. Instead she very short, rude, and judgmental. I would never adopt from this shelter or take my dogs here. It's hard for me to believe she is kinder to the animals or other adoptive dog parents.
