I will never live in another Alliance residential property again. These people are awful to deal with. It's almost as if they don't want to keep tenants around, they just want people in and out so they can collect move-in fees and deliver ROI for their investors. Their website reads like an investment bank and is littered with terms like "investment strategy", "revenue growth", and "cash flow" and they are always coming up with little scheme's to charge us more. A few years ago they came in and tried to jack up everyone's rent by several hundred dollars. People were rightfully pissed. One of the local apartment staff commented "I told them not to do this and that people will leave". Many people did leave and that staff member mysteriously disappeared.  Several months ago we all got a letter on the door stating that they would be adding an "exciting new tech amenity" that bundles cable tv and internet into one convenient $85 dollar payment through Spectrum. I haven't had cable in 6 years and pay half that for just internet. On top of that, this fee is MANDATORY. They clearly worked out some deal with Spectrum to force more people to upgrade to cable. When people complained they added that you can be grandfathered into the program with your current cable price but ONLY UP TO THE DURATION OF YOUR CURRENT LEASE.  Most recently I moved units within the community. I thought I had closed everything out, paid my last months rent and transfer fees. Everything is done online and I paid my rent and bills at my new unit. Fast forward to now when I'm receiving menacing emails detailing a final notice on a past due payment to them. Apparently I still owed them for my final water bill. Instead of transferring those fees to my new units bill they sent me a bill VIA EMAIL, which I never saw. Now they are threatening to send me to collections. I have been attempting to call this Maya Juarez and she conveniently is never available. I still don't have resolution on this, as they have asked me to go online to pay my bill and when I do the bill is $0.  This has been a nightmare. I advise anyone thinking of renting here to RUN!
