We haven eaten at most of the Thai restaurants in the East Valley and can declare that Tasty Thai is in the top 25%. Upon entering and seeing that we were the only customers on a Saturday night brought upon some concern. It must be the location because there is no reason for diners not to be filling up all the tables. The menu is extensive so even picky eaters should find something to their liking. We started with the Tom Yum soup w/squid. Perfectly cooked and savory. Companion had the Red Curry Shrimp mild heat. Very flavorful with veggies and 6 shrimp. I had the Pad Prick King Beef medium heat. The spice had a kick but not too much. Could have used a bit more beef though. The decor is a bit eclectic but the place is very clean with well made and comfortable tables and chairs. Service was very good. Make sure and save room for dessert. The Thai Custard topped with homemade coconut ice cream was the ending of a very good meal. The freshness of the ice cream helped to offset the sweetness of the custard. I can't wait to visit again and try the Pumpkin Curry.
