I read that comedy/improv clubs have such history in Canada so I knew I wanted to check out a show at the Second City. We watched Sixteen Scandals which was full of fun and laughs. The performers are great actors! The show starts with sketches and ends with improv. They tie in current events as well. The show also integrates Toronto-based jokes so while folks like me who aren't from Toronto may not get exactly what the heck they are talking about, you get that insight as to what Toronto life is like. Just some notes:
--Be sure to eat before or after the show since their menu is pricey and lackluster.
--Seating is cozy but you'll likely make friends with those around you.
--We bought out tickets online but if you are staying at a hotel in Toronto, it may offer a discount on the tickets.
--Intermission is about 10 minutes long.
--The folks at the front desk were not friendly at all but those at the seating podium and the wait staff were great.
