I was more than pleased with the 5 days I spent here for my friend's wedding this past weekend. Spring Training camps and Nascar had caused all the hotels in the Phoenix area to be sold out and this was no exception. I spoke with Sandra at the front desk about getting a room on the first floor because my elderly mother couldn't climb the stairs right after I booked the room on Price Line. She also checked us in and was happy to accommodate, even inquiring about my mother's impending hip surgery. Our air conditioner was not working well and maintenance was sent to check on us right away. The next morning the AC starting acting up again and the maintenance man came and did some more work on it. He also came to check in with us to see if things had cooled off. They hadn't so he went to the front desk and had them switch our room, still keeping us on the first floor. I can't say enough good things about that man! He went out of his way to help myself and my mother on both March 13th and 14th. I hope his managers know how valuable he is! The free breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel. It is a hot breakfast, served buffet style. Every day there were eggs and potatoes as well as a make your own waffle station, 4 cereals, bagels, english muffins, toast and instant oatmeal. Other dishes rotated. There were pancakes, french toast and biscuits and gravy all at different times. There was also an assortment of juices as well as coffee. On top of this the kitchenette was the best I've ever seen in a suite. We had a full sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, stove, sink, a full set of dishes, cutlery and pots and pans as well as a dishwasher. Other people have complained about the beds but the king sized bed my mother slept on was actually memory foam and the sofa bed I slept on in the common room was just as comfortable as any I've ever stayed on. The hotel was also in a great location. Easy access to the 10 as well as lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
