First time customer. Disappointing experience. Read my story; judge for yourself... Used vehicle purchase: (a) Purchased used vehicle for less than $10,000. (b) Was given written document that guaranteed us a 500 mile, 15 day warranty. Per verbal agreement, "they warranty only covers damage.to power train or engine" (c) We were.aware of one or more.accidents on the carfax, but the employee attempted to dismiss these as trivial. Warranty claim testç (a) on Day 13 and 300 miles, check engine light comes on. (b) unable to reach live person by phone for 48hrs. I drive to their office directly. (c) They use a tool to delete the trouble code from the engine computer, and will not agree to assist further. The manager says, I quote "We don't know much about cars. We are not mechanics. You can go to.a dealer auto shop". (d) We explain that the check engine code.could be indicating an issue relating to engine or power train damage occurring. They flat out lie, explain this is not possible, and offer unlikely excuses.for the check engine light ( fuel low, gas cap loose, etc) We are prossional mechanics, were aware of the trouble code and how to fix it before the office visit. We did not need warranty service actually. This was just a test to see how they handled us. summary: Keep this story in mind if you are considering purchasing a more expensive vehicle from them. Be prepared to need hard proof of warranty issue before a claim, including out of pocket cost to take to repair shop BEFORE.warranty is up. Do not trust any mechanical.advice they offer you. Do not assume carfax is accident free. I would not recommend doing business here for a large purchase over $5000. Risk is equal to buying private party sale, but they will charge closer to dealer prices.
