Granted the live music was good (instrumentally anyway)... it was just WAY WAY too loud. Its one of those places you literally have to yell in someone's ear for them to hear you... if you're sitting in the room with the band anyway.
Granted we ate off the late night menu... but, you call that cheese on your Blarney Chips which cost me $13? Disgusting. And they came with the most minuscule portion of salsa. The server didn't care about my constructive criticism.
A mojito being my favourite drink, I almost got one as they had described on their menu that they make it properly by muddling fresh mint, lime and organic sugar (no fake mixes). Since they seemed to know what they were doing, I instead opted for their delicious sounding Strawberry-Rhubarb Julep as I'd never tried the official cocktail of the Kentucky Derby. Though it had bourbon, fresh mint, peach liquor and fresh strawberry-rhubarb juice... I tasted basically none of those ingredients... it was just bland... boring, depressing, almost, for the $7.50 I regretfully paid.
Anyway, service was pretty slow. I had to actually get up to chase down our server at one point... and ask for the menu from another server.
I've been here before and had a decent time just drinking some beer and enjoying some late night food... this was just an overall bad experience I guess.
