What a pleasant surprise this place was! Driving into another industrial park, I was curious what I would find. We pulled up to a beautiful old mill, which is now Cabarrus Brewing Co. I loved the outside of the building and the patio. What a great space! We then entered and I was extremely impressed with the size and feel of the building. It seems as though they tried their best to keep the integrity of the old mill, which I greatly appreciated. They had old historic pictures of the place hanging up, which was really cool. The inside was very inviting and huge! They had multiple TVs for our Sunday viewing pleasure, which was nice, but not too distracting. I love that you can see the brewhouse from the tap room. I was impressed by the beer. They had multiple styles of beers to choose from, which I am always grateful for. They also had nitro taps- another point. Every style was good and I really was impressed at how well they did multiple styles. I also appreciated they had local ginger beer on tap (which is excellent). Again, I would likely not drive out here from Charlotte with all the breweries here, but I believe this in an incredible addition for Concord.
