I love springs preserve. When I was still in high school I would volunteer here all the time. They have a few volunteer opportunities to choose from. For example, the cactus rescue and helping with holiday events. It's great for high school students looking for things to do. Springs preserve is right next to Meadows mall as well, so after volunteering, head to the mall !
I always try to come here for their holiday events. It is so family friendly and there are plenty of things for the adults and kids to do. You also learn a lot going through the preserve. Coming here around Halloween season I believe is a must, you and your kids can dress up and enjoy the various activities spread along the preserve! The kids can also get candy. There is also a haunted hall as well.
Christmas time is always a great experience. They decorate the preserve with lights and plenty of festive decorations for the holiday. I've also been to the Asian Harvest Festival and that is always enjoyable. I love it.
I would definitely recommend this place to families with kids. They have year long things to do and with a membership, I believe it is quite a deal !
