I'm not complaining about their dental services. This complaint is about their lack of respect for the customer when filing a claim. My daughter's appointment was almost two months ago. During this time, I have repeatedly asked them to file the claim for my daughter's orthodontic retainer replacement. Each time I talk with someone at the office, it's one excuse after another. Such as, we didn't have the right patient name or we didn't know who the primary policy holder was. Two weeks ago I was told it was filed. After talking with my insurance company, I found out it wasn't. I called again and again only to get the same run-around. I called again today 10 July only to be told it was sent to our claims department. So, I asked can you call and get a status. I was told, we can email them and call you with an answer. This is clearly an attempt to further prolong their filing of the claim. At this time I am paying for the retainer replacement out of pocket. I will follow-up Friday with any progress. Use Canyon Vista Dentistry and Orthodontics at your own risk. Update...7/21/17 Got a call from dentist office letting me know that they are working with their claims office to get this issue resolved.
