I can't say enough good things about Saving Paws Rescue! We adopted Harley (FKA Taffy) from one of their rescued mama's Dolly. Tara was so great to deal with through the adoption process and the puppies had been well taken care of by Tara, Charis and others. They prepared us with everything we needed to take a 9 week old puppy home including food and toys, checked in often, came to the house to give her other shots after the adoption.
The rescue also has a trainer, Jeff Mason, that volunteers his time with SPR dogs! Jeff hosts free (yes free professional training) for all of us adopters. He even went out of his way and came to our house on the weekend to start our training.
This group saves so many German Shepherds and devotes their lives to making sure they have great homes. We are grateful to give one of their dogs a forever home.
