Had a lovely dinner here last night and was most impressed by the service. Our waitress was delightful and really well-versed on the menu and wine list. She was also very attentive, which is a plus in my book. We started with the charcuterie plate, which wasnt my favorite as everything was pickled. Tasty nonetheless. The cocktails were nice and top shelf, which I appreciate. Tuesday is $6 cocktail night as well on select varieties. Next up, on the waitresses recommendation, we each tried a chicken dish. I had the Nashville Fried, and I was overwhelmed by the amount of chicken on my plate. 3-4 pieces, with a side of greens and mac and cheese. The chicken was great and spicy, and the mac and cheese was just average. I'm not a greens person, so can't comment on those. We finished the night off with the creme brulee. It was made with molasses, so incredibly sweet, but hit the spot. Overall, this is a great cozy spot near Shadyside and the food was decent. Typical upscale American, but probably not a place I'd frequent. Great for date night.
