It's been a few years since I've hiked this trail but I remember having a blast on it. It was well defined and easy to follow all the way to the top. I seem to recall the hike was about 6 miles round trip with about 2000 ft of elevation gain. Here's a link with good directions to get to the trail head http://www.meetup.com/VegasHikers/events/8905143/ This is not an easy hike and you'll want to make sure you're in decent shape. You'll enjoy this hike more in the cooler months as there is not shade anywhere on the trail. Doing this in the middle of summer could be a killer.
