I loved this place, in spite of the lousy service. Huge selection of board games, playing cards, RPG books and Magic cards. I spent most of my time in the shop hunting through the back wall of poorly organized, but really affordable used RPG books and found a bunch by smaller publishers (goodman games, green ronin, etc.) for as cheap as $1. The RPG books were the exception though, most of the store was very well organized (I can't say I blame any shop owner for not spending more time organizing their $1 shelves). The only reason this place gets bumped down to four from five stars is service. Me and my family interacted with several staff members while browsing who's reactions ranged from indifference to impatience. I don't know if it was a language barrier issue, but staff here seemed more visibly annoyed by switching to English after greeting me in French than any other place we visited during our stay in Montreal and when we regrouped after browsing my family indicated they had similar reactions.
