I will start this review off by saying that I, personally, don't really love whiskey. Given the choice I'd rather drink vodka or gin. I feel like that's an important disclaimer, because I LOVED this tour. My husband and I took my parents on the tour for Father's Day and everyone (even my liquor-shy mom) had a great time. The tour guide Justin was funny, knowledgeable, and best of all you could tell he loved what he was doing. The crazy part about that is that he (and all the other tour guides) are volunteers! We learned about the Pittsburgh connection to whiskey, and also about the importance of the barrel in the whiskey making process. It was informative, fun, and we got 5 or 6 samples along the way! I highly recommend this tour to anyone! Also, if you are there but don't want to take a tour, they have live music and a food truck in the garden most weekends during spring and summer, and it is a great spot to relax and enjoy local food, beer and spirits!
