I used to like this place, but a recent visit had me coming away pretty disenchanted. The problem was I ordered the coconut shrimp and it was not what I expected in a very bad way. Usually, coconut shrimp has a light batter and tastes of toasted coconuts. This however, was creamy and way too heavy. I asked the waitress what the sauce was made of and she said "mayonaisse." So, the shrimp was sitting on my plate covered in gloopy mayonaisse. There is a coconut flavor to it, which is good, but I can't bring myself to eat it. The heavyness of it and the way it sits in your stomach. I think mayo should be left to topping burgers and sandwiches with, not part of entrees! Anyways, I explained this to the waitress and she comped me and let me order something else. I think that they fell gracefully at least. It does make me question this place quite a bit though moving forward.
