This my second time coming to this salon. My hairdresser moved to California and I wanted to stick with Davines products. My mom had been trying to find a salon and decided to start coming here when her hairdresser, Andre, moved here so I thought, why not?
For the first cut, it was just reshaping and color. Amazing job! He takes his time which I appreciate. I don't feel like I'm in and out of the chair so the next person can come in.
The second cut has bit of a story. I wanted to try a Mohawk shaped undercut similar to Kelly Osbourne but instead of skin, I wanted a fade. I did not explain it that way though so bless Andre's heart for trying to understand my jumble. We did have a misunderstanding but let me make this clear: the misunderstanding was solely on my end. He asked me a question, I said yes to it so he gave me what I asked which resulted in my hair being cut shorter than what I wanted but Andre being the talented hairdresser he is, he made it look good and even better than what I wanted. Same with the color. He blended the brown and blonde so it all came together. If anything, I feel bad for stressing him out. I ask for custom haircuts that are variations of multiple cuts in one so, obviously, my requests aren't simple but talented and experienced hair dressers can handle them.
End result? Lots of compliments. He's truly a hidden gem. Thanks Andre!
