I'm updating my review from a former 5-star review because, while the majority of my experiences are positive, there are a few negative employees that are in glaring contrast to the bulk of their peers. But mainly, the Tire Center and Pharmacy drag the rating down significantly. I have both my prescription and the Costco prescription plans, and have inadvertently overpaid when the less expensive plan was not used. It seems like it would be an easy process to check which plan would save their members the most, and bill accordingly. So when this happens they have to re-run it, which slows down the line. There also is NEVER enough front-end help at the pharmacy, so in my experience there is always a line. My wife has also found it challenging to get a prescription filled the same day, which is standard service at the retail pharmacies. The Tire Center has never given me satisfactory service. When they mounted my new tires they scratched my rims and I could not hold them accountable even though no damage was noted on the check-in form. Rotations were so hard to get done due to 2-3 hour wait times, that I paid other shops to do them for me. Finally, yesterday I was told my rear tires were "shot" and that because my rotations were further than "6,000 to 8,000 miles apart" the warranty would not be honored. I feel that if they are going to be so strict on that I should be informed upon purchase. I had a similar issue with my wife's car and Discount Tire went to bat for me and we worked out a pro-rated replacement cost. But Costco was unwilling to work with me in the least, which is surprising since their satisfaction guarantee is so comprehensive for retail items. I have one last point, but it did not come into my rating criteria but is worth mentioning as a public service: I'm fairly certain my wife's car was hit in the parking lot, and when I called to ask to see security tapes, I was told there are no external cameras on the lot. I surmise that the "Bait Car Program" signs scattered through the lot are there to instill a false sense of security for your car. I also only thought to ask for footage because I know someone who had a similar incident at Sam's Club and they DID have footage that helped the police. P.S. GET RID OF PEPSI AND GO BACK TO COCA-COLA!!!
