My roommate and I lived here for 2 years and 11 months. So we started off when it was Pietra. Every apartment has their issues and problems. So it really just depends what you find of importance and what you are willing to compromise on. We liked living here for the most part. On move in day we had issues with the measurements that they provide on their floorpans. These measurements are not correct. So I would highly recommend bringing a tape measure and doing it yourself. We have a lot of furniture and two king size bedrooms. So measurements were our top priority. It was definitely frustrating when my furniture didn't fit in my bedroom because the measurements were off by 2 feet one way and another foot the other way. When it was Pietra we ran into problems with our A/C unit overflowing, which resulted in mold growing all over the walls. We got different explanations of what maintenance was going to do about it through 4 people. It took 2 weeks of mold growing to have them finally rip up the drywall and replace it. It was even black mold and the manager goes oh its way different out here. Generally a lot more should be done when its black mold. The manager at the time was rude and not pleasant to work with. After that we didn't have any issues with our apartment itself. My roommate however had issues with the office signing for her packages. She received emails saying the packages were delivered with one of the office peoples signature in the email. When she went to pick them up the packages were no where to be found and the lady in the office denied every signing or receiving them. This happened on two different occasions. The grounds were kept decent, but there were a lot of feral cats and the bushes smell awful which means my dogs always smelt like crap. Also there were a problem with pigeons for ac couple of years. The fitness center was not anything special. The pool after the last upgrade in 2016 was finally decently nice. We just moved out in June of 2017 and this was the 4th year in a row they have shut down the pool area to do some kind of renovation. Just a little irritating. When The Reserve took over we slowly noticed that grounds became dirtier and dirtier. The hallways were never power washed and were filthy. Kind of embarrassing when your friends come over. And in the last year the first time being Christmas Eve my bike was stolen, and then a couple weeks later someone stole my wreath right off my front door. Then I get an email in the beginning of February that they are going to do renovations. Ok thats great. BY WHY ON EARTH would you do a pool renovation at the start of nicer weather and then the beginning of summer. I'm sorry but thats stupidity right there. And the fact that they have taken away all of our amenities for 4-5 months and we don't get discounted rent. Thats absurd! Parking is horrendous. I always had to park at the back of the complex or the street when I lived in the main building, so if parking is something that you find important then maybe questions getting a parking spot. But parking really isn't a big deal for me. The amenities inside the apartment are really nice and you can't find any better for the area. If you had a patio they run really small. We loved that the fridge had the water dispenser. Thats impossible to find. We had granite counter tops, two master baths and bedrooms, not a traditional apartment layout. The one issue that we had since we moved in was the dryer sucked and took 2 hours to dry clothes. And mold was always growing in the toilets and in the washer constantly. The carpet we got when we moved in was trashed. Obviously they carpet cleaned it but after a few weeks more spots and more spots kept showing up. It was disgusting. The grouting on the tiles in the bathroom and kitchen floor need to be redone. I cut my foot a couple of times on the sharp edges due to the deterioration of the grout. And the last couple of service requests we had were not completed. I asked for a water filter to be replaced and something else to be done. They did the something else but didn't replace the water filter. So we just ended up doing it ourselves. And then the very last request our blinds on the patio door broke. So they ordered a replacement and finally installed them. But didn't end up putting the top cover part back on them. They just left that part laying in the middle of the floor. They also moved my kitchen table to do this and didn't move it back to the original spot. Like I said it really just depends on what you find important when looking for a place to live. Would I live here again..... Maybe. I will really miss the Valet Waste though.
