I love that Yelp Las Vegas is able to offer family friendly events! The Children's discovery museum is three levels packed with fun, stimulating activities and exhibits. Once you enter, you are greeted with a three story jungle gym. After passing the front desk, the first room is a water play area. I like this area because it gets the little ones intrigued right away and no matter how young, you can have a lot of fun with balls and water. Warning: your kids will get wet, plan accordingly. They have ponchos on the wall for use. Also on the first floor is a place appropriate for infants and young toddlers to play. Around the corner, is medieval and dress up fun complete with a big castle and ship. The second floor is my son's favorite! The exhibit there changes regularly. This time, it was about science and music. He had fun being a "dj" making beats and banging on everything there. After that there are different themed stations where their imaginations can go wild! There is a little hospital, grocery store, jamba juice, airport, car shop, and a Raiders area. Also, on the second floor an area that teaches kids about healthy eating. The third floor, kids can be archaeologists! I love the hands on activities. Kids can get their hands dirty and sift through dirt and sand to find objects, then sort and weigh them. Also on this floor is an area to build cars and test them out on ramps. One last area we visited was the arts and craft area. This is a great place for families and they offer yearly memberships! They also do birthday parties here. Friendly staff also!
