Wow. How have I not been here before? With all the other coffee shops along Murray and Forbes, I just never made it in here until tonight. Wow, wow, wow. Definitely the chillest hangout spot around. You walk in and are handed a menu and a bell to ring for when you're ready to order. Lolwut? Okay. I mean, I guess I can pretend like I'm living the life of the 0.01%. If you insist.
You then get to choose from an array of seating arrangements, ranging from traditional tables and chairs near the counter to semi-enclosed rooms with gorgeous mosaic coffee tables and cushion-lined seating banks to squat little tables that you can sit cross-legged around. Did I mention you feel transported to another world by the architecture, the sumptuous decorations, the sounds, and the smells? Yep.
I had an herbal Tulsi chai, which did a surprising job of resembling an actual chai. Very nice work. Bravo, yinz. I'll be back the next time I'm in Squirrel Hill.
