Thieves! I brought my Chevy Express van to Sands Chevrolet for an oil change. I was told that my steering gear was leaking and needed almost $1,000 in repairs. As I'm a female senior citizen traveling the country alone I immediately agreed. I do have an extended warranty contract. Luckily a snow storm up North closed the insurance company that day. I was told to bring the van back, that it would be safe to drive for a while. I brought it to a Chevy dealer in Nevada for the repair. They assured me there was NO LEAK. I called GM to look into fraudulent practices at Sands. Photos confirmed no leak, but Sands said there was "moisture" and would not reimburse me for diagnostics in Nevada. GM Complaint Division says they have no technical people and must believe Sands. They are complicit. By the way, there were several Similar Facebook complaints. Sands December all of them.
