In 1998, I bought a used seemingly "wonderful" condition 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE from these guys. Within 4 months, the transmission went out. Being naive and too trusting, I decided to let the Russ Darrow dealership fix it. At the time, I believed paying extra for such a big repair would be worth it since genuine Chrysler technicians would put original parts into the van. They said they put in a "rebuilt" transmission with a 1 yr/12k mile warranty. One year and 2 weeks later, the 2nd transmission went out. Infuriated, I went to this dealership and basically got told that since the warranty ended 2 weeks ago, I was out of luck. I am convinced the scam artists at Russ Darrow put in either a shoddy rebuilt transmission they knew would somehow make it just past the year warranty mark, or just patched up the original transmission so again it would barely make it past a year. Stay away from these criminals!
