I had a really great experience at Texture. The salon is a very pleasant space and everyone I interacted with was helpful and friendly. When I arrived I filled out a new client form which, as another reviewer mentioned, demonstrated right off the bat that they were interested in providing a really personalized service for me. Great first impression. It also facilitated a great discussion with my stylist right off the bat so that we were on the same page from the beginning.
My stylist, Desiree, specializes in curly hair with lots of body like mine and she gave me a fantastic cut. More importantly, she really took her time with me, explained everything she was doing, and showed me how to recreate the look she gave me, which I really appreciated! She also told me that if I had any questions about using a diffuser or any of the products she used, I could give her a call - so helpful and so reassuring. She's obviously ready to stand behind her good work.
I really hate getting my hair cut because I've had so many lousy experiences but my trip to Texture was relaxing and excellent. It felt like a treat instead of a chore. Thanks, Desiree!
