Shame on me for not doing my usual internet research BEFORE hiring The Law Offices of P. Sterling Kerr to handle a relatively routine real estate matter for my family. I just spent 2 of the most frustrating months trying to get this firm to return telephone calls and emails. It could have all been avoided if I had done my due diligence. My opinion: I suggest you look elsewhere for someone to handle your legal matter. Mr. Kerr was great at returning phone calls and emails before I paid the $2,500 retainer fee for his services. As soon as he got his money, he assigned our case to attorney John Holiday and it all went downhill from there. Yes, I communicated my reservations about Mr. Holiday to Mr. Kerr, but nothing was done. Save yourself a lot of frustration and even more time by finding a lawyer that listens to you, understands your situation AND returns your phone calls. You should NOT have to wait 5 or 6 days for a return phone call and then be told the reason your calls weren't being returned is because they are trying to save you money! That's just 1 of several outrageous comments I heard from members of this firm. After 2 months of this craziness I finally lost my cool, only to have Mr. Kerr file a MOTION TO WITHDRAW from our case, citing "that there has been a breakdown in the lines of communication between our office and the plaintiffs..." There definitely was a breakdown...but in my opinion, it was because Mr. Kerr didn't "appreciate" being called out on the shortcomings of his office. NOTICE TO P. STERLING KERR LAW FIRM AND ASSOCIATES: This review is based on my experiences with your firm. Before you post a dispute to this review, know that I have copies of every email between myself and your firm as well as thorough documentation of every telephone conversation between you, the employees of your firm and myself, which I will be more than happy to post on this site (and others), in order to defend my review.
