My windshield unfortunately cracked during our "Polar Vortex" last week. (Jeez, don't you just hate the hype that the media makes up? It was just freaking cold, that's all!)
I checked with my insurance, and found out that they had a contract with Safelite, so I decided to go ahead and schedule a replacement with them. I did, however check with several other services, including a dealership, and found that Safelite service AT HOME would come out to less than HALF of what others wanted to charge!!
One important detail: if you are choosing home service (which only cost me an extra 30 bucks...) you need to have a covered area available for the service to be completed - i.e. you must have a garage which will allow both front doors to be open simultaneously.
Jason was our glass specialist, and I must give him a huge compliment - he is extraordinarily friendly, and treated my curiosity with courtesy, and even invited me to watch the whole process - I happily obliged! Jason was the consummate professional, and treated my vehicle with total respect - no nicks or dings. He completed the service in about an hour, and I must say that the installation is factory quality.
I highly recommend using this office's services, and would encourage you to even ask for Jason by name - you will not regret it. He is extremely professional and friendly. I cannot recommend them more highly.
