The staff is not very knowledgable about anything other than cats and dogs. If you have questions about aquatics or reptiles make sure you are talking to the manager of aquatics. Every time I go in there is a line with one register open. Most recently a cashier named Missy, told me that she could not look up my pals rewards without my phone number, when I told her that I always use my last name because I'm not sure what phone number it's under she got very frustrated with me and refused to even try to look me up. The proper way to handle the situation would have been to just explain that she was unsure about the procedure. My boyfriend and I own a snake and get mice from there frequently, it can sometimes take up to 20 minutes to find an associate to get them for us. If you know of a better place I recommend sticking with them. Petco is overpriced! They don't price match their own website and the customer service is terrible since they fired the aquatics guy Matt.
