This place is a very solid Canadian-Chinese take out and delivery joint with good food and great prices. Note that this is Canadian-Chinese food - i love Omei's Lobster, Congee Queen's turnip patties, or Emperor's peking duck as much as anyone, but this isnt that place, its where you go for dinner-for-4 deals, for old-school egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken balls, bean sprout chicken chow mein, fried rice, etc. Lots of dishes are very good, the prices are low, and delivery is quick. They do exactly what you'd expect from a Canadian-ized Chinese delivery joint, and they do it very well. Solid dishes: egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken balls, deep fried shrimp, spicy eggplant, chicken wings, and their fried rice is simple excellence. BUT they're not so skilled at noodle dishes, with Cantonese chow mein and Pad Thai both only "OK" and the others not good. Quick delivery, the friendly gent on the phone, and reasonable prices when compared to local competitors like Cynthia's, this is my go-to for the nostalgic Canadian Chinese delivery of my youth.
