This is my wife's favorite Italian restaurant in the Pittsburgh area. I'm a bit on the fence, but no matter which way you slice it, it's impressive. First and foremost the service is outstanding. The selections include some you may not be used to, but we're always willing to try something new. Personally I'm spoiled by places like Pasta Too in the south hills that give you tons of food at a great price. This is not that kind of place. Think more in terms of fine dining. The meal here is more of a total experience. Our check ran close to $100 for two people without drinks.
The prices here are a bit higher than you expect for Italian cuisine, but the added quality and service make it an excellent choice for a special occasion. I'll add more detail after our next visit.
