Who fly's out to Vegas to not party but run the annual Las Vegas Great Santa Run?! THIS GUY! In December 2015, a buddy and I meet up in Sin City to partake in the charitable cause.
As a visitor to Vegas, I did experience some difficulty trying to pick up my bib and santa suit. Fortunately with everyone in the Christmas spirit, I was directed to the container park. The suit is obviously extra large as so bring your own belt and perhaps tape to hold up the santa pants.
The pre-race day of festivities was pretty cool as many celebrities were there to promote the fun event! Seeing the Jabbawockeez perform was the highlight during these events.
The actual race course was just okay. Its was a nice morning run through downtown Vegas and Fremont. Thirty minutes after the run, there were many volunteers handing out Santa medals and smiling with refreshments.
For any newbies, definitely dress warm as it is typically quite cold since its an early morning December run and enjoy the time with fellow Santa's! Ho ho ho!
